Qatar Airways has begun legal proceedings against Airbus in the High Court in England, regarding safety concerns related to surface degradation in its A350 fleet – an issue which has resulted so far in 21 aircraft being grounded. In response, the airline is refusing to accept delivery of further aircraft tendered for delivery by Airbus and is seeking to cancel its contract for 50 A321 Neo aircraft.
