KLM is celebrating its centenary with a film that tells the story of three generations of the same family who have worked with KLM. You can see the first two featured women from earlier generations become inspired to fly and become flight attendants, while the granddaughter of the original lady becomes captain of KLM’s newest airplane, the Boeing 787-10. As well as the human story, the film tracks KLM’s fleet evolution from 1919 and features classic airplanes such as the Fokker F.II in 1934, the Douglas DC-4 in 1949 and the Boeing 747 in 1975, ending with the Dreamliner. The stories have been brought to life with the authentic uniforms, props and details from each decade
