Many British expats, living in Canada and beyond, suffer homesickness. Canadian airline Air Transat has been trying to find a cure, working with a specialist researcher to discover new ways to alleviate the pain of missing home. Volunteer British expats were filmed and asked by the researcher what they missed most about the UK, using visual cues such as corgis and cups of tea, and national headwear such as busby hats and deerstalkers. The solution – perhaps predictably but no less true for it – is to fly to visit friends and family
