CTT Systems AB, a developer and supplier of aircraft humidity control systems, has announced an order from Comlux Completion for its Inflight Humidification VIP system, for an Airbus ACJ320neo aircraft.
The installation is intended to increase humidity in the entire aircraft cabin, which requires support from two humidifiers, complemented by protection from fuselage condensation. This award is CTT Systems’ 96th Inflight Humidification VIP order for Airbus ACJ and Boeing BBJ aircraft.
“We are delighted to cooperate with Comlux again in the completion of the second ACJ320neo that Comlux has equipped with our IFH system,” stated Peter Landquist, VP of sales & marketing at CTT Systems.
The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system offers anti-condensation protection.
“Humidification is one of the most important features in engineering luxury and comfort for our most prestigious completion clients,” added Daron Dryer, CEO of Comlux Completion.
Without an efficient humidification system, the air in a VIP cabin can be below 5% relative humidity (RH). For the Comlux ACJ320neo, CTT expects humidity to increase to approximately 20% RH with the system, so VIP passengers on long-haul flights will benefit from reduced dry air-related problems such as fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases) and improved wellbeing and sleep.
