December 4, 2015 – Reed Exhibitions anticipates that more than 18,000 aviation professionals, including representatives from more than 180 airlines, will touch down in Hamburg for Passenger Experience Week 2016, taking place at Hamburg Messe from April 4-7, 2016.
Comprising three dedicated events – the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC), Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) and the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) – the week will host more than 700 international exhibitors from the aviation and rail industries.
Taking place on Monday, April 4, the PEC will offer delegates a chance to learn from industry visionaries, exchange knowledge and engage in debates, centered on the future trends of the passenger experience industry.
In-depth breakout sessions will highlight the trends influencing cabin interiors and passenger comfort, passenger entertainment and connectivity, hospitality, service and retail. The PEC features a range of international speakers from airlines, manufacturers, designers and OEMs, each offering case studies, presentations, panel discussions, interactive Q&As and networking opportunities.
AIX, now in its 17th year, will showcase the latest innovations, technologies and products in the cabin interiors, inflight entertainment and passenger comfort industries. The 2016 event will host a variety of exhibitors from across the interiors industry, including Spafax, Panasonic Avionics, B/E Aerospace, Airbus, Zodiac and Boeing. AIX will also announce the winners of the Crystal Cabin Awards, which will be celebrating their 10th anniversary at the event.
Returning to Hamburg for its fifth anniversary, WTCE is the leading event for travel catering, onboard retail and passenger comfort. 2016 will offer a platform for professionals across the air and rail industry to meet over 300 international industry suppliers, source the latest products for onboard catering, travel retail and passenger comfort, attend a wide range of networking events and view demonstrations from world-class chefs.
Katie Murphy, senior exhibition director at Reed Exhibitions, stated, “We are very excited to be hosting the busiest ever Passenger Experience Week in Hamburg next year. The aim of the week is to provide a 360 degree perspective of the global passenger experience in one place – delivering content, driving innovation and developing connections that will transform the airline and rail sectors.”
