Thermoplastics manufacturer, Sekisui Polymer Innovations (Sekisui SPI) has appointed Karen Brock Amoah as its vice president of global commercial strategy. In this new role, she is responsible for the company’s long-term development of global markets, industries, customers and products, and with developing commercial strategy for the next 10 years.
Sekisui SPI has many opportunities ahead, including new manufacturing spaces and training initiatives. One of Amoah’s most important duties will be to help startup and well-established industries achieve breakthrough innovations and assist with the accompanying processes and improvements.
Amoah has over eight years of management and marketing experience along with over 16 years of product and business management. Her previous role at Sekisui SPI was as VP of sales and marketing. When asked about her new role, Amoah said, “I am excited to be part of an organization that is evolving to meet the global demands of manufacturing in the 21st century. We have a dynamic business, design and technical team to help our customers rapidly launch innovative products that are disruptive and customized for the markets they serve.”
