Aviation vinyl flooring specialist, Lonseal, is implementing a plan to make all of its aviation product offerings REACH compliant by January 1, 2015. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) is a European Union regulation which addresses the production and use of chemical substances.
In meeting the criteria outlined by REACH, there will be no change in Lonseal’s flooring products – Loncoin II Featherweight and Lonpetite Featherweight – with regard to colouration, texture or visual appearance, although part numbers will be changing.
By 1 October 2014, all new Lonseal aviation products will be REACH compliant, though non-REACH-compliant aviation product will still be in stock. By 1 January 2015, the company will offer only REACH-compliant aviation products.
