Aircraft interiors supplier, Bucher Leichtbau, has announced the delivery of the first sets of premium branding elements for Korean Air’s Boeing 787-10 fleet. The company says this delivery marks ‘a new chapter’ in its development of branding elements.
Korean Air officially took delivery of the first of its planned fleet of 20 B787-10 aircraft on 22nd July. That day was significant for the airline, as it was the same day the airline made an announcement at Farnborough Air Show of its intent to purchase up to 50 Boeing widebody airplanes, including 20 B777-9s and 20 B787-10s, with options for 10 more 787-10s.
The branding elements, delivered by Bucher as the airline’s Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) partner, include branding panels with 3D shapes, all manufactured in Switzerland.
