May 19, 2016 – Aircraft humidity control systems specialist, CTT Systems (CTT), has announced an order from Jet Aviation Basel to supply Cair humidification systems for two Boeing BBJ777-300 VIP completions.
The Cair humidification system is claimed to reduce dry-air-related negative health and wellbeing effects on long-haul flights by maintaining the relative humidity at levels similar to those on the ground. The system generates a relative humidity of approximately 20%, compared to 3-5% without humidifiers.
