June 16, 2015 – At the Paris Air Show, Thales announced that its Avant IFE system has been selected by Oman Air for its fleet expansion. The contract will see Thales’ Android-based Avant system and Touch PMU handset fitted in Oman Air’s total order of 16 B737s, 3 A330s, and 6 B787s. The parties will also work together to create a special passenger experience interface on the system.
