Harman International Industries has entered into an initial five-year collaboration with Lufthansa, to equip passengers with an aviation-certified adaptation of its AKG N60 NC (noise canceling) headphones. Beginning in January 2017, all Lufthansa business class passengers will be offered the headphones, which are constructed from premium and lightweight materials including aluminum, memory foam and leather. Harman will also support the repair, service or replacement of headphones as needed.
