LATAM Airlines Group and WarnerMedia have entered into an alliance that will add new attractions from HBO Max to its LATAM Play IFE system. LATAM is the first Latin American airline group to feature HBO Max, which gives it preferential access to the channel’s library.
The alliance includes exclusive premieres like ‘Friends: The Reunion’ and ‘Raised by Wolves,’ among other hit shows, like ‘Mare of Easttown’ and ‘The Undoing,’ which are already available for passengers to view.
The content adds to LATAM Play’s more than 700 hours of premium content, which includes movies, documentaries, TV shows and music. TV titles in the current catalogue include Wahl Street, Game of Thrones, The Nevers, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, and Chernobyl; as well as feature films like Oslo, Bad Education, and The Wizard of Lies.
To access the platform, passengers connect to the LATAM Play network once onboard the aircraft and visit play.latam.com to view the content. The airline’s Boeing 767, 777 and 787 fleets have seatback screens with direct access to LATAM Play.
