Immfly is launching its AdsFly service to cater to the huge market for advertising on IFE systems. During Aircraft Interiors Expo the company also announced a deal with Eastern, its first American client, to supply its W-IFE platform.
A big part of Adsfly is the Onboard Ad-Server, which is a tool to provide advertisers and airlines with increased autonomy and flexibility to manage, upload and analyze advertising campaigns. It includes a range of features, including options to facilitate asset selection, segment campaigns by audience and monitor KPIs.
“Advertisers are very interested in the highly captive audiences we reach with our airline network and the technological expertise we provide to manage onboard digital assets in combination with traditional inflight media. The capabilities we deliver are highly effective for both cut-through branding and sustained performance campaigns.” said Ramón Rodríguez Sánchez, advertising manager of Adsfly.
One of the possibilities of the integrated system is to allow passengers to sample a product in-flight, right after watching a digital advertisement for it.
The software is hardware-agnostic and the company is focused on bringing it to all IFE providers. It is equally airline-agnostic
Advertisers benefit from sophisticated tools and increased transparency enabling them to optimize their investment with targeted captive audience (it doesn’t get much more captive than airline passengers) campaigns, while airlines and their IFE providers benefit from opportunities to maximize media asset value.
In addition, the company has struck a deal with Eastern, to install its W-IFE platform on nine Boeing 767s. This includes a host of digital services and revenue generation tools for the operator, and a premium portfolio of audio and video for passengers.
Eastern’s president and CEO, Steve Harfst said, “Eastern looks forward to launching Immfly’s Connected Digital Services Platform across its full fleet. We see a clear opportunity to enhance our service and operations with one of the most innovative propositions in the market delivering a premium IFE experience to our passengers while fortifying our competitive edge.”
Jimmy M. Korff, Immfly’s co-founder added, “We are confident we will contribute real value to Eastern’s current operations and ambitious plans. Immfly remains committed to expanding the provision of its technology, proven to deliver the optimal IFE experience and digital services, with the most efficient business model in the market. This US partnership with Eastern reinforces the relevance of our unique proposition to international long-haul carriers, and builds on the broader success demonstrated with our clients to date.”
