Passengers on board flight I2 3730 between Madrid and Copenhagen with Spanish low-cost airline, Iberia Express could enjoy a special inflight screening of Joker, the film that secured the most Academy Award nominations this year, in addition to the Oscar for Best Actor and Best Soundtrack. The screening, which marked the introduction of Warner Bros movie content on Iberia Express’s IFE platform, Club Express Onboard, was via wireless IFE streamed to passengers’ devices. Passengers on the celebratory flight were surprised with free popcorn, earphones and mobile device holders to enhance their IFE experience.
As well as Joker and other movies, users of the Iberia Express IFE service can access TV series and other content including games, press and magazines, destination guides and more. According to Immfly, almost 50% of passengers who access Club Express Onboard do so to consume entertainment content, with 37% watching movies, 18% TV shows, and 13% reading digital press and magazines.

A new catalogue of movies will be refreshed regularly and can be accessed for free in three languages: Spanish, English and French.
