Among the interesting presentations at APEX Expo in Long Beach (19-21 September) is AerQ’s newly launched Aerena Experience Studio, created to give airlines the freedom and flexibility to create their own unique digital onboard experience within days. The system options include updating media, customising user interfaces (UIs) and managing apps.
The ground infrastructure for the Aerena open IT platform has a one-login-only procedure, which allows airlines to update their media content in less than a week and configure their UI on a day-to-day basis. The Aerena Experience Studio facilitates the airlines’ app management by providing an end-to-end digital workflow that encompasses app development, testing and deployment so that airlines can continually adapt their digital onboard offerings to their passenger’s changing needs and preferences.
AerQ is partnering with European LCC, Eurowings Discover, to install the full Aerena Inseat System in the cabin seats on board an Airbus A320 test aircraft. This will offer the airline’s passengers an upscale onboard experience supported by a state-of-the-art cloud-based infrastructure.
Both the Aerena Experience Studio and a seat row with the integrated Aerena Inseat System are being presented at APEX Expo in Long Beach (booth 1037).
