Above: Mark Bowden may be able to improve your lifestyle as you fly
March 1, 2016 – Beginning today, long-haul passengers with British Airways have the option of undergoing a little light in-flight hypnotherapy from their seat. Customers can access the IFE system and listen to a series of five, 30-minute well-being programs recorded by UK hypnotherapist Mark Bowden, covering topics such as weight loss, stopping smoking, giving up alcohol, eating more fruit and vegetables, and how to develop a more positive mental attitude.
As Bowden explained, “It’s very exciting for an airline like British Airways to offer the benefits of hypnotherapy to their customers. Using my programs they’ll be able to tune in and switch off in a way that enables them to both relax and focus at the same time.
“It’s a very effective way of changing human behavior for the better so they can start making those life changes they’d like to make to improve their wellbeing. And listening to the audio regularly is like training a muscle – the more you do it, the more impact it has.”
