September 29, 2015 – Caribbean Airlines has announced its selection of Lumexis’ Fiber-To-The-Screen (FTTS) IFE system for installation on its fleet of 12 B737-800s.
“We are delighted to be working with Lumexis to introduce their FTTS IFE system as part of the cabin upgrade project being rolled out across our B737 fleet,” said George Reeleder, Caribbean Airlines’ VP of commercial and customer service. “FTTS will play a significant role in raising customer satisfaction.”
Jon Norris, Lumexis’ VP of sales added, “In addition to continuing the in-service success of the FTTS system, Caribbean Airlines is the launch customer for FTTS Second Screen, which enables passengers to use their own tablets and smartphones simultaneously at their seat without interrupting the entertainment running in the FTTS HD monitors.”
