Cathay Pacific has announced that from August 2025 it will offer both 100% seatback inflight entertainment (IFE) and 100% high-speed inflight connectivity (IFC) across its entire aircraft fleet.
Customers travelling on Cathay Pacific flights will be able to enjoy the airline’s IFE catalogue (including exclusive content) and wi-fi in every cabin on every route, as a further step in what the airline says is n aspiration to become the world’s best premium airline.
Since the airline first introduced its seatback IFE systems in 1992, Cathay Pacific has continuously invested in inflight digital innovations to enhance the customer experience. This year saw the airline introduce 4K HDR, offering 4K ultra-high-definition screens and a broader colour range.
Access to the cabin wi-fi systems is complimentary for customers in First and Business class, as well as Cathay Diamond members
