Astronics wins design award for portable IFE

Aerospace technologies company, Astronics Corporation, has received the 2019 Good Design Award in the transportation category for the design of its Sierra portable inflight entertainment (IFE) product. Sierra was selected for this award from a record number of submissions from leading manufacturers and design firms, representing the influential corporations in the design industry.

The Good Design Awards are presented by the Chicago Athanaeum Museum of Architecture and Design plus the Metropolitan Arts Press.  Founded in Chicago in 1950, the awards programme is claimed to be the oldest and world’s most recognised authority for design excellence worldwide.
