July 17, 2017 – Airline equipment, Spiriant, is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of establishing its presence in Hong Kong. In 2007, Hong Kong was chosen as the company viewed it as a gateway to the largest manufacturing region of the world, enabling it to interact directly with manufacturers and create synergies in product development and sourcing. Just one year later, in 2008, a product quality team was set up in Shanghai to ensure the fulfillment of standards before shipments were sent out.
The company’s global expansion has progressed continuously, with dedicated teams also located in Dallas, Dubai, Istanbul and Santiago de Chile, in addition to the company’s long-established base in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt, Germany.
In more recent history, 2016 saw Spiriant establish a dedicated competence center in Hong Kong to extend its procurement expertise and focus on amenity kits for its worldwide customers. The center brings together 50 employees under one roof with expertise in design, sales, procurement and logistics.
