Metzo, the aviation and rail business of Vita Group, has announced that it is in the process of acquiring Paustian Airtex, a specialist in leather and textile products for the aviation industry, including seat covers, pockets, curtains, flooring and panels.
In a statement, Metzo said that the acquisition of Paustian Airtex aligns with The Vita Group’s focus of innovation and collaboration, and that Paustian will bring enhanced cut & sew capabilities to Metzo, as well as enhancing its breadth of service.

The Vita Group is working closely with Paustian Airtex’s existing customers and suppliers with a view to ensuring a smooth transition. With operations sites in Germany and Poland, this acquisition positions The Vita Group to broaden its capabilities and enhance its market presence in the aviation and rail sectors.
