Trenchard Aviation Group has opened a seat cover facility on island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, with the aim of better serving its long-standing airline customer, Air Mauritius.
Trenchard Aviation Group has until now been providing a dry cleaning service for Air Mauritius from its base in the UK near Gatwick Airport, which has also handled the airline’s seat cover cutting and sewing requirements. With the facility in Mauritius, the company will now be able to deliver a full service with a faster turnaround time and at a reduced cost.
Mark Faulkner, Trenchard Aviation Group’s CEO, commented, “Trenchard Aviation Group has been providing a great service for the flag carrier airline of Mauritius for a number of years. With our latest facility near to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in Mauritius, we will not only be able to enhance that service, but also make a unique offer to potential new customers.”
In addition, having identified many new business opportunities in the Indian Ocean region, with the Mauritius facility Trenchard Aviation Group will be much better placed to secure further market growth.
