Lufthansa Systems has announced that Stefanie Neumann has taken over as one of two CEOs of Lufthansa Systems. She will lead the company together with Dr Thomas Wittmann, who has held his CEO position since 2019.
In her role Neumann will be responsible for the company’s products, customers and markets as Lufthansa Systems continues to develop IT solutions designed to shape the future of digital aviation.
Stefanie Neumann joined Lufthansa Group in 2019, where she was part of the CIO management team as vice president of IT Infrastructure, Sourcing & Transition. During her tenure, she managed the transition from a single provider setup towards a future-oriented partner ecosystem, and modernised the technical capabilities in all IT infrastructure pillars.
Before joining Lufthansa Group,Neumann had various management roles related to products and innovation at Deutsche Telekom. She built the basis of her career in strategy and IT consulting in various industries including insurance, telecommunications and aviation.
