JetMS Completions, an aircraft interior and exterior completions company, has acquired Waypoint Aerotec, a Certified Design Organisation (CDO), to expand its service portfolio and strengthen its position in the global aviation market.
An important part of the acquisition is that JetMS Completions will also gain UK CAA Part 21J Approval. This certification is a valuable addition to its design capabilities and qualifies the company to provide design solutions to clients, as well as to gain a wide range of aircraft approvals.
The Part 21J approval will also enable JetMS Completions to offer structural modifications, avionics, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) system upgrades, as well as to streamline and expedite its certification processes.
Another benefit is that Waypoint Aerotec’s STC 10073186 enables JETMS completions to offer off-the-shelf replacement of passenger seat cushion covers and foams for all Embraer Phenom 300 (EMB-505) operators and owners.
Gegams Hanamirjans, executive chairman at JetMS Completions, said of the deal, “Along with the recent appointment of Stefan Chevalier as managing director, this strategic acquisition is set to strengthen our position as a seasoned, comprehensive provider of top-tier aircraft interior and exterior completion services. With our new-found status as a certified design organisation, we’re primed to expand our service portfolio even further.”
