FAI Aviation Group (“FAI), Germany’s largest operater of business jets, has appointed a celebrity brand ambassador, in the form of former Formula One World Champion, Mika Häkkinen. The Finnish racing driver, nicknamed ‘The Flying Finn’ was Formula One World Champion in 1998 and 1999, driving for McLaren.
In his role as brand ambassador, Häkkinen will promote FAI’s services, with a particular focus on aircraft charter and management. Siegfried Axtmann, founder and chairman of FAI, comments: “Mika is a natural fit for the FAI brand with his track record of success in Formula One, his passion for excellence and focus on precision and performance.”
Häkkinen added, “I have been a great advocate of business aviation for some years – it has enabled me to travel freely and flexibly, particularly during my racing career. I am proud to be representing FAI. Its competency as a business jet operator in terms of service excellence, attention to detail and emphasis on safety are impressive. I look forward to helping the brand go from strength to strength.”
FAI Aviation Group operates Germany’s largest fleet of business jets and amassed more than 13,000 hours of flight time in 2018.
