Aerospace industry technology partner, FACC has held its 13th Supplier Excellence Awards, which are given in recognition of suppliers which help the company achieve reliable deliveries, high quality levels, and sustainable products by offering outstanding performance in terms of product quality, flexibility, cooperation, customer service, and cost and processes optimization.
“Our success is determined by our worldwide FACC crew, and also by our partners. Therefore, it is very important to us to put them center stage and show them our appreciation”, explained Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC.
The winners
SACS, a system specialist from Germany that produces fastening components and connecting parts, won gold in the Supplier Excellence Awards. FACC cited the company’s state-of-the-art technology, expertise, in-house tool making and machine construction, and “perfectly functioning” supply chain as reasons for this top award.
Milltech GmbH, an Upper Austrian enterprise which produces complex lathed and milled parts, received the silver award due to the high precision of its work.
The bronze award went to DELO, which FACC describes as a “hidden champion”. This German manufacturer of industrial adhesives has been a supplier of customized special adhesives and device systems for applications in high-tech industries such as aerospace for 50 years.
Finally, the Special Performance Award was bestowed upon Felbermayr, a fellow Austrian company which implemented complete solutions in the field of transport. Starting as a local fleet operator, Felbermayr has successfully developed and established itself as an international industrial service provider.
