After more than eight years, Andreas Lindemann is retiring from his role as chief sales officer of Recaro Aircraft Seating at the end of 2014. His responsibilities, which include sales, program management, and customer service, as well as finance and administration, will be assumed by the experienced executive management team.
Starting on January 1, 2015, the tasks of Andreas Lindemann will be carried out by the executive management team, consisting of Mark Hiller (CEO), René Dankwerth (R&D), Joachim Ley (supply chain), and Peter Müller (finance and administration). Responsibility for sales, program management, and customer service will be assumed by Mark Hiller.
After senior positions at Airbus Group (then EADS) and the former DaimlerChrysler Group, in 2006 Lindemann took a management position at Recaro Aircraft Seating, assuming responsibility for the areas of finance and administration. In this role, he was responsible for a comprehensive strategic and organizational realignment, which was completed in 2008. Since April 2012, he was also responsible for sales, program management, and customer service.
“In his management functions, Andreas Lindemann has contributed significantly to making Recaro Aircraft Seating into a well-positioned company with good growth prospects. I thank him sincerely for his work and wish him well for the next step in his career and private endeavors,” stated Martin Putsch, a shareholder in Recaro Group. “I am sure that our experienced executive management team with Dr Mark Hiller at its helm will continue the path of success of our company together with all employees.”
“After more than eight exciting, eventful, and successful years with Recaro Aircraft Seating, I would like to take on a new challenge,” said Lindemann. “I will have fond memories of this time and wish the best for the company and all employees. I extend special thanks to Mr Putsch and Dr Hiller as well as all my colleagues in the Recaro Group, with whom I was able to work with confidence for the benefit of Recaro Aircraft Seating.”
