Acro Aircraft Seating has appointed Chris Leese-Wood as the company’s new CEO, replacing Chris Brady. Leese-Wood joined Acro on January 28, 2019 and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, holding engineering, project management and commercial positions at BAE Systems and Cobham. Prior to joining Acro, he was managing director at AIM Composites for five years where he was involved in a number of cabin interior programs.
At the end of 2017, Acro Aircraft Seating was acquired by the Tiancheng Group, and as well as its UK head office near Gatwick Airport, Acro also has offices in China, Singapore and Miami.
Upon his appointment, Leese-Wood stated, “Acro is a fantastic company, with a unique family of innovative economy class and premium economy class aircraft seats. The future is inspiring as we intend to continue to deliver our reliable, robust, lightweight and easy-to-maintain seats to our airline customers based in all global regions.”
