Five, an active fragrance diffusion system developed by Zodiac Pacific Precision Products, has been tested successfully on a BBJ, with the company saying the product is now ready to be certified on a VIP completion. The system was tested 10 times, with variations made to the cabin air circulation and the location of the two diffusers.
Zodiac Pacific Precision Products said that during the tests, the fragrance filled the test area in less than two minutes, and dissipated within 30 seconds of the system being deactivated. The company also said the “fragrance experience” was constant throughout the space, with adjustable intensity, but restricted to the specific zone. It reported no interior damage or residue.
