Deutsche Aircraft, the German OEM airframer, has announced a joint agreement with Satys Cabin for the supply of lavatory assemblies for its D328eco 40-seat turboprop regional aircraft. Satys is a subsidiary of Satys Industries, an industrial holding company, which also owns Satys Aerospace, a specialist in aircraft painting and cabin outfitting.
Satys Cabin will produce the lavatory assemblies in accordance with the industrial constraints of Deutsche Aircraft, from the design stage, to optimising assembly during the cabin-outfitting phase.
The project marks an extension of the relationship between the two companies, as in August 2023, Deutsche Aircraft commissioned Satys Cabin to design and produce the interior fittings for the D328eco.
“We are proud to be associated with the realisation of this innovative aircraft, the technical specifications of which attest to Deutsche Aircraft’s determination to reduce the carbon footprint of air transport,” stated Antoine Gaugler, general director of Satys Cabin. “This ambition is also a priority for Satys Industries, and one that Satys Cabin strives to implement through the products it designs and produces for its customers”.
