At the NBAA-BACE 2018 business aviation convention in Orlando, Florida this week, Bucher Aerospace has revealed three VIP table mechanisms, named Minneapolis, Savannah and Nairobi.
Nairobi is a pillarless conference table concept for medium and large business jet cabins, with a structure intended to increase comfort and space for passengers while maintaining all expected functionality. The table offers 34cm of force-assisted adjustability in height, and 48cm in lateral adjustability, combined with a fully mechanical mechanism for reduced weight and minimal maintenance.
Meanwhile Savannah is a divan table optimized to deploy out of the side of a love-seat, with controlled motions for highest comfort and ergonomics, and Minneapolis is a table optimized for consoles in smaller cabins. Both include dampened motions, quiet motion and well-balanced operating forces.
