Greenpoint Products and Services (GPS), an aircraft interiors and components manufacturer, has completed first article inspections and begun Boeing 777-200 commercial interior deliveries.
The build-to-print and testing programme includes manufacturing B777-200 interior bar units, coat closets and video control cabinets. The testing and first article inspections completed on plan, allowing deliveries to begin in March 2014, with scheduled conclusion by July 2014.
“The quality standards and work ethic of the team exceeded our client’s expectations,” said Adrian Osborn, vice president of operations at Greenpoint. “The inspection revealed only minor pickups; positive results for the company’s first airline contract.”
