As part of its aircraft interiors design modernization program, Brazilian low-cost carrier, GOL Linhas Aereas has revealed a new cabin branding project for its B737 and B737MAX fleets.
A main focus was on strengthening the airline’s brand image on board, achieved by mounting a milled aluminum branding logo at the front of the cabin, as well as highlighting the new onboard wi-fi connectivity service to customers through a resin script also applied to a front panel. Both branding elements were designed, manufactured and installed to EASA standards by Italian cabin branding specialists, ABC International.
“It was pretty challenging to overcome all the certification issues for resin use on the monument. The customer selected a resin design, which is an unconventional material, but we successfully achieved the certification for this new material on board”, stated Alberto D’Ambrosio, CEO of ABC International.
