June 16, 2016 – HAECO Private Jet Solutions (HAECO PJS), HAECO Group’s cabin completion specialist and the first and only cabin completion center approved by Airbus and licensed by Boeing, has revealed its Zen concept cabin design for narrow-body aircraft.
The design takes its inspiration from the Buddhist practice of Zen, encompassing harmony, relaxation and balanced living. In modern Mandarin, the word also stands for wisdom and tranquility. The Zen cabin design embraces these values through the use of a symmetrical layout and stylish hues.
Colors from the four seasons are blended into the cabin living space. The essence of spring is felt in the lounge, which features light green furniture and a cherry blossom motif, symbolizing hope and vitality. Summer is found in a lotus flower and red carpet in the galley, evoking passion and confidence. Passengers discover the tranquility of autumn when they enjoy a cup of tea or have dinner in the dining and tatami area, which is decorated with a chrysanthemum floral pattern symbolizing a harvest. The presence of pure white and plum blossoms in the luxurious bedroom offers a deeply relaxing hint of winter.
Below: One of the most notable features is the multi-purpose table in the tatami area, which can be used as a mahjong table, a tea table or a tatami bed. Another aspect is the natural, free-flowing layout in all sections of the cabin, which creates an open feeling throughout the aircraft
