Astronics Corporation’s Luminescent Systems subsidiary has been selected by Diehl Aerospace to design, develop and supply the emergency lights for the Embraer E2 regional aircraft. In addition, Diehl Aerospace selected PECO, Astronics’ cabin interior, structures and military assemblies subsidiary, to design, develop and manufacture the E2’s passenger service units. Overall, this means that Diehl Aerospace has been selected by Embraer as the prime contractor to supply the entire cabin lighting system, the cabin management system and the passenger service units for the E2 family.
