May 5, 2015 – Greenpoint Technologies, a Zodiac Aerospace subsidiary, has obtained the first EASA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the B747-8 Aeroloft crew rest program. According to Greenpoint, this will be the first of four Aeroloft certifications this year.
The Aeroloft is a modular product developed specifically for the Boeing VIP 747-8 aircraft. It offers eight private crew sleeping berths located above the main deck in the aft section of the aircraft, accessed using a forward entry staircase at door four.
