Thompson Aero Seating has announced a new programme with Thai Airways, to supply business-class seats for its new Airbus A321neo fleet. The airline has opted for Thompson’s fully flat Vantage model, which will create a premium passenger experience consistent with that of its widebody fleet.
The latest-generation Vantage seat, specifically optimised for the A321neo cabin, will be fully customised for Thai Airways to enhance passenger comfort and personal space.

Thompson will deliver 16 Vantage seats in a 2-1-2 configuration for each aircraft, with Thompson’s ‘throne’ single seat on alternate rows. A total of 32 shipsets will be delivered to support THAI’s strategic network expansion and customer experience enhancements, with the first delivery scheduled for later this year.
Keith Anderson, chief executive officer of Thompson Aero Seating, stated: “It is a pleasure to be supplying our fabulous Vantage seats to THAI. We look forward to working closely as a team and are thrilled that the latest iteration of our flagship seat will be taking flight with them.”
