Stelia Aerospace has been given a ‘Top Employer’ award by the Top Employers Institute, an international certification awarded this year to 94 French companies. This is the third consecutive year the company has been given this award, and is one of only two aerospace companies to be recognised.
The award was issued following an audit conducted by the Top Employers Institute, an international authority that certifies the standards of HR practices around the world. This audit made it possible to compare Stelia Aerospace’s HR strategies, policies, processes and tools, with regard to global best practices, before a second certification audit, carried out by an independent external body.
The audits consider the quality of the working environment, how a company promotes the development of talents at all levels, and work to improve human resources practices. According to Stelia Aerospace, its career management, training and employee development are the themes that received the highest scores.
“We are all the more proud at the start of 2021, as 2020 has been a special year, punctuated by a number of difficult subjects that we have been able to manage with agility, solidarity and with respect for human values,” said Marc Jouenne, HR director at Stelia Aerospace.
“Beyond certification and the positive spinoffs in terms of attracting our future talents, we use this process as an audit and continuous improvement tool, in addition to our generic audits. This exercise allows us in particular to identify the subjects on which we still have to make progress in order to develop the most favourable environment for the engagement of our employees.”
