April 10, 2016 – Recaro Aircraft Seating was awarded for its excellent performance in service and after sales by Airbus at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. The aircraft seat manufacturer was one of the best rated suppliers in the annual, ‘Supplier Support Rating’ customer survey.
Major Airbus customers around the world were surveyed on the performance of suppliers in the area of after sales, with service, warranty processing, delivery of spare parts, and other relevant criteria included in the evaluation. The resulting rating is considered significant for Airbus as well as its airline customers. According to Recaro, it received “impressive ratings”, especially in terms of proximity to customers, response time and comprehensive customer care.
Dr Mark Hiller, CEO of Recaro Aircraft Seating, accepted the award at the Expo. “This customer evaluation always plays a crucial role at Airbus when it comes to recommending suppliers to airlines,” stated Hiller. “The rating shows that we are right on target with enhancing our performance in the key area of service and that this is being recognized.”
