On 13th December, Recaro Aircraft Seating (Recaro) celebrated a landmark 25 years since it began manufacturing at its Americas facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The company celebrated its quarter-century of operations with an event attended by VIPs, customers, business partners, media, and Recaro staff.
Since its establishment in 1998, the Americas site has grown from 30 employees with two production lines, to nearly 500 staff and six production lines. In December, the Americas facility will achieve a production milestone, having built more than 423,000 passenger aircraft seats over those 25 years.
The evolution of the site is not complete though, and as part of Recaro’s long-term growth strategy, the Americas facility is targeting 10% year-over-year growth through to 2026.
“Since 1998, we have stayed at the forefront of shaping the aviation seating industry, consistently delivering comfort and support to our customers,” said Sunitha Vegerla, general manager at Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas. “This milestone not only commemorates our past achievements but also propels us forward, and we look forward to many more years of elevating the passenger journey through our exceptional seating solutions.”
