Norra, a regional subsidiary of Finnair flying in the Nordic area, has selected Acro’s Series 3 ST+ seat as part of a fleet-wide cabin refresh on its ATR aircraft fleet. Acro has been working to deliver the project within a lead time of eight months and it will mark first delivery of the Series 3 ST+ on an ATR aircraft. The Series 3 ST+ seat has a recline angle of 24°, a large tray table and a minimized parts count.

Alan McInnes, SVP of sales at Acro said, “We are delighted to welcome Norra and Finnair  as a new customers. We have collaborated with the team to develop a customized version of Series 3ST+ that includes an enhanced leather literature pocket, coat hook, luxurious leather seat covers and bespoke cushions. The space-saving advantages associated with Acro’s unique curved seatback design will provide passengers with superior levels of comfort, especially at the 31in pitch selected for this .”

Norra operates  ATR aircraft for Finnair on domestic flights in Finland, flights to the Baltics, to Gdansk in Poland and to Stockholm’s Bromma airport. The first ATR aircraft with the Series 3ST+ seats installed is expected to be in operation in summer 2019, and the refurbishment of the 12 aircraft in the Norra fleet will be completed by the end of Q1, 2020.
