On the 3rd of July, the first China Southern Airlines aircraft to be fully equipped with Recaro seats made its maiden flight, from Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao. The aircraft – the first of 20 A350-900s to be fitted with Recaro seats – features the CL6710 model in business class, while premium economy and economy class are fitted with Recaro’s PL3530 and CL3710 seat models.
The CL6710s in business class are the first linefit programme for the CL6710 seat on the A350 platform. The seats are in a staggered 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access, fully flat beds and 18.5in IFE monitors.
The PL3530 in premium economy provides ergonomic seating positions, stowage options, a 38in pitch and individually-adjustable calf rests. Meanwhile the CL3710s in economy class feature six-way headrests and neck support, as well as a state-of-the-art IFE system.
