Turkey-based aircraft seat manufacturer, TSI Seats, has delivered five shipsets of its Elesa S economy class model to AnadoluJet, Turkish Airlines’ regional airline subsidiary. The seats are being fitted to 17 Boeing 737-800 aircraft that are being added to AnadoluJet’s fleet, with the remaining 12 deliveries of the retrofit project scheduled to be completed by early Q2 2021.
The Elesa S is a lightweight seat designed for narrow-body aircraft, with features including an ergonomic backrest cushion, a non-flotation bottom cushion, a mechanical recline mechanism (0-4in), a bi-fold seatback tray table, life vest pouch and upper literature pocket.
