Aeroflot is equipping its fleet of Airbus A320neo and A321 aircraft with more than 50 shipsets of Recaro’s BL3710 economy class seats and CL4710 business class seats. The first A320neo in Aeroflot’s new fleet took flight for the first time on 25 May, with deliveries to continue between now and 2028 (another eight A320neo family aircraft will be delivered this year).
In total the national airline of Russia has ordered a total of more than 10,000 Recaro seat pax. The CL4710 seat is designed for medium and short-haul flights, with the Aeroflot seats offering a 21in seat width, fabric and leather trim, an oversized tray table, IFE, power ports, an ergonomic backrest with a 5in recline, and an adjustable calf-rest. The BL3710 seats feature enhanced neck support, leather dress covers, a tray table, and a sub-10kg weight.
