United’s reimagined passenger experience

Following our reveal of United’s exciting new aircraft interiors, take a look at the wider reimagined passenger experience with the airline’s first updated lounge, located at Chicago O’Hare T1

The ORD lounge measures 12,782 square feet and has a 170 passenger capacity. Further new business class lounges will follow at LAX, SFO, IAH, EWR, IAD, NRT, HKG and LHR

Guests can relax at the bar area for a drink and a small plate from the buffet, or retire to the dining area for a more formal meal. The marble bar surface echoes the table finish on the Polaris business class seat

As well as custom-designed chairs, the ORD lounge also features bespoke art installations by artist Wolfgang Buttress

Guests can enjoy hot meals inspired by award-winning chef Art Smith in a boutique restaurant setting , helping them feel refreshed and relaxed prior to their flight

Passengers can relax in a secluded area that features daybeds, soft lighting and gentle white noise

The spa-like shower facilities feature Soho House Cowshed products

The modern bar area offers a rotating menu of local and imported beers, craft spirits and handcrafted cocktails designed by mixologist Adam Seger
