Aircraft Interiors International enjoyed a tour of Embraer’s first E2 prototype at Farnborough International Airshow 2016. Here’s what we found onboard…

No seats here: the cabin of this E190-E2 prototype is fitted with ballast tanks that allow the center of gravity to be moved throughout a flight

The flag at the rear of the cabin shows how proud Embraer’s engineers are of this Brazilian project

A few lucky Embraer staff were allowed to travel to and from Farnborough in the prototype. There is no IFE, so they loaded up tablets with movies prior to the flights

Everything from spares to suitcases was loaded at the rear of the cabin

This is PriestmanGoode’s cabin design, which will be flying in 2018.
