July 30, 2015 – The ‘High Performance Foams’ division of Rogers Corporation has changed its name to ‘Elastomeric Material Solutions’ to better reflect its growing range of products and capabilities.
“This name change is the result of productive input and dialogue with customers and employees from around the world,” said John Quinn, VP, Elastomeric Material Solutions. “Elastomeric Material Solutions more clearly reflects who we have become through years of innovation and development, and where we expect to be in the future. More than just foams, we are a technology-based material solution provider.”
Elastomeric materials are defined as any resilient material composed of chain-like molecules, or polymers, which recover their original shape after being stretched. Rogers produces a variety of elastomeric products, which are designed into products and applications in segments including aircraft, trains, automobiles and industrial equipment.
