May 12, 2016 – INSYS aero, a developer and manufacturer of wireless access points, airborne servers, gateways and data converters for aeronautics, has been approved as a European production organization according to EASA part 21, section A, subsection G by the German Aviation Authority.
The approval is an official authorization for INSYS aero to manufacture products (rating C1) and parts (rating C2) according to the “scope of work”, as well as to issue release certificates (EASA Form 1). Having introduced a quality management system according to EN ISO 9100 in 2011, INSYS aero proved to be in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
