May 31, 2016 – TAP Express’ first Embraer 190 is now flying across Europe. The aircraft entered service on May 23, 2016, flying from Lisbon, Portugal, to Nice, France. TAP’s E190 accommodates 106 passengers in a 2-2 configuration.
TAP Express is TAP’s new brand for regional operations. The entry into service of the E190 is part of TAP’s regional fleet renewal strategy. The TAP Express fleet will soon include nine E190s and eight ATR 72s.
