June 6, 2016 – Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse will supply the integrated air management system for Antonov’s new aircraft, the AN-132D. The company will design, supply and service the system – including the bleed air system, cabin pressure control and anti-ice system – for the first AN-132D demonstrator. The contract covers the delivery of systems for four flight test aircraft.
The AN-132D will be the prototype for the AN-132 turboprop light transport aircraft, intended to replace the regional AN-32 and AN-26 aircraft. The AN-132 program is being undertaken by Antonov Company in close cooperation with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Taqnia Aeronautics, which are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Liebherr-Aerospace also supplies the cabin pressure control systems for the AN-74 and the AN-140, and the integrated air management system for the AN-148, the AN-158 and the AN-178 prototype.
